Okay, between all the confusion of notes (cause apparently my classes are starting to get to me and I'm not functioning right), I finally understand I made the DLD cut. (I know, genius, right? ) So, I'm officially a prose category admin. Send your suggestions to meh. Do it.
Wait, Meagan, what's going on? When did this happen? Quite a while ago, obviously. I'm a dummy, and I can't read things right. (Wait until after my Physics exam is over. )
Whoa, okay. So, what's =DailyLitDeviations?
Daily Literature Deviations is a group dedicated to promoting the work of Literature artists on deviantArt.
By showcasing one featured Daily Deviation per day the Literature Community Volunteers provide the community with a showcase of excellence in Literature. In contrast, we will be showcasing excellence with a series of literature pieces each day in a News Article to serve the community. We are a diverse group featuring 5 pieces of quality literature every day.
That's so awesome! But, how do you choose what to send to be featured?
Silly, you give me suggestions as well as I find some. Send me a note with the prose, and why you suggest it. Though, I do have some guidelines to what you can and can't send me.
I prefer prose that has emotional tendencies, ones that tell a clear message, and I can relate too. I'll take all kinds of prose, honestly. (I love to read.) But those will catch my eye before a lot of others. (I'm a sucker for a good horror story though.)
I love to read short stories. Don't ask. I just do.
I'm also a sucker for some good grammar and spelling. I'm a native English (American) speaker, and a writer, so I tend to like good grammar. (And please, spacing. Gah! )
No more than two suggestions per note. I'll read them all though!
Feature yourself! If you're confidence enough, why not?
Oh hayyyy, that's it. I'm like the most lax person you'll ever meet. I'm a biology undergraduate major --- most of us are. Now, since I got my spazzing out of the way, here are some serious things to mention:
This ---> fav.me/d3uvun1 And this ---> fav.me/d3uvu6f AND this ---> fav.me/d3uvurj
Maybe I'm not going to be serious. Is that a bad thing? Or should I have not written this at six in the morning?
The world may never know.
Important to notice
A DLD is not a Daily Deviation. If you have a suggestion for a Literature Daily Deviation (DD) or just have general questions about the literature community please contact one of the Literature Community Volunteers below:
