The contest is officially closed! The judges (yes there is two more however I hadn't added the newest addition to the journal) and I will have results within 1-2 weeks. 

The contest will close at 11:59 PM (or earlier depending on my tiredness), so get those entries in! I have around 30 so far. I'm excited. I didn't think the contest would be a big hit!

About a week left of the contest. The contest has turned out better than I could have hoped. I'm glad so many people joined. Also, I would love the help of another to judge; however, if nobody steps forward, I can judge them. It's not big deal. 

Simple yet fun contest

 

Two Sentence Horror stories. They are a lot of fun to write, and I thought I'd give incentive for others to try it. I haven't hosted a contest in awhile (and I do have the places for the New Year's contest). The contest should be rather simple in writing and judging. Each entry should be two sentences. Not hard to read, right? Anyway, I thought it would be fun to host a contest based on these two sentence horror stories. Generic, horror stories. Many things can be considered horror to one person. I've been slacking on working with the literature community, because my university classes are taking most of my time. A contest is just what everybody needs from me. Though, my contests never give enough or get enough attention, I love holding them. Anyway, enough about my woes. Everybody wants to hear information about the contest.

• The deviation must be uploaded between March 7 and April 7. 
• It has to be a new deviation. 
• The entries must be two sentences -- no more; no less 
• The genre is horror. [Write horror.]
• Send a note or comment in this journal a link to your entry.
• Be creative. [I have the right to judge whether its truly horror or not.]
